You need to be old enough to agree to these terms where you live (at least 16, and older if your country requires it). The Plushy Society is meant for a warm, general audience, so please keep everything you share suitable for that.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your login to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has got in. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

The plushies, photos, letters, and words you create here belong to you. By posting them, you give us a limited permission to store and show them inside the app so the world can work (for example, showing your plushy on the map, or your note in a shared space). We do not sell your content.

To keep this a soft, safe place, please never post or send:

• Nudity, sexual or explicit content, or images of body parts.
• Anything involving or endangering children.
• Hateful, harassing, threatening, or bullying content.
• Violence, gore, or content that promotes self-harm.
• Other people’s private information, or photos of people who have not agreed to be shared.
• Illegal content, scams, spam, or advertising.
• Anything that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademarks.

Photos and text may be checked automatically, and anything that breaks these rules can be blocked or removed. Serious or repeated breaches can cost you your account. We want this to be about the plushies, so please keep it kind.

We may review, block, or remove content, and suspend accounts, to keep the community safe and pleasant. We try to be fair and gentle, but we get the final say on what belongs here. If something of yours was removed by mistake, write to us and we will take another look.

Much of the writing and many of the illustrations here are generated by AI, from the words you give your plushy. They are affectionate fiction, not fact or advice. The comfort corner is a soft space, not a crisis service; if you are truly struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or your local support services.

The Plushy Society is offered “as is.” We look after it with love, but we cannot promise it will always be available, or free of bugs, and we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it, as far as the law allows.

These terms may change as the world grows. If we make an important change, we will update the date above and, where it matters, let you know in the app.
